Dovepaw woke earily like she has been doing of late. Her leg would always start to hurt in the morning and some times at night before bad. Dovepaw had taken poppy seeds last night just to sleep. She slowly stood up and limped out of her den. Dovepaw ran in to Falconpaw her brother and smiled at him like always. She didn't smile much anymore since her fall. Dovepaw almost never smiled at any of her clan mates and only smiled at her brother or kits from the nursery. Falconpaw looked at her and she sat down with little trouble "Good morning sister" he said with a happy smile. Dovepaw smiled back "Good Morning brother" she said happily. Falconpaw grabbed some prey from the fresh kill pile and carried it to the apprentice den. Dovepaw picked her own up and went back to the Medicine cats den to lay at the enterance with her kill. Her left leg always seem to stick out while she laid. Dovepaw silently ate her kill and watched as camp woke up from their dreams. Dovepaw's dream was crushed moons ago and yet she never said a word about how unfair it was. Dovepaw looked at the sky for a moment before contining with her morning meal.

At first, the Medicine Cat's den had seemed empty, execpt for Dovepaw. The came a frantic scuffling, and eventually, a relieved sigh. "We do have Catmint. And a nice amount of it. That's a relief." Splashfire mewed, sliding out of a now-orderly herbstore. She padded toward the entrance of the den pleased with herself. It was then, because she wasn't paying attention, that she nearly tripped over a leg.
Splashfire eyes traced their way up the tail, until she found the cat. Hello, Dovepaw." Splashfire mewed, now taking care to step over the leg, so that she was in front of her apprentice. She settled herself down in front of her apprentice, Her front paws tucked underneath her, as well as her back paws, which were tucked to her sides. Instantly, she wished she hadn't. Laying like this, might as well have been mocking her apprentice. She waited to see if the she-cat would return her greeting.

Dovepaw was looking at the sky after she had finished her prey. but suddenly someone almost tripped over her bad leg and she looked to see her mentor who stepped over her leg. She greeted Dovepaw kindly and this made the apprentice give a small smile. Then Dovepaw noticed how Splashfire was laying and if it had been anyone else she would have yelled at Splashfire about mocking how she lay. Dovepaw smiled sweetly because she wanted to trust Splashfire "Good Morning Splashfire" Dovepaw greeted her mentor with a soft tone.
Dovepaw was always trying to be kind of others and give them a chance to know her. So Dovepaw was going to let that move slip by as Splashfire just finding a comfortable position to lay down. Dovepaw then quickly got up and went to the kill pile to pick another piece of kill. Dovepaw brought that piece of kill to her mentor and lay back down slowly. Dovepaw got comfortable before looking back at her mentor "So what are we going to do for today" she asked. Dovepaw waited for her answer from Splashfire about the days plans.

"Is there anything you don't know?" Splashfire meowed in turn to her apprentices' question. "You'll know more then me at this rate. Anything you think we haven't covered?" While her apprentice had gotten up, she had shifted to more of a laying down position, her front and back legs sprawled out, but, her head still upright. Her apprentice knew so much. Soon, they'd have to try and find more plants of a medical value, so she could teach her apprentice more. It had been much like herself. She'd had to learn all she could in one moon. She winced at the thought of her mentor, pushing it to the back of her mind. She instead busied her thoughts trying to think of something her apprentice didn't know.
