Rainbreeze quietly padded to the opposite side of her den. She didn't want to disturb the quiet serenity that filled the den. Leaning over, she gently picked up a wad of herbs in her jaws. The smell of freshly picked herbs filled her nose, for she had picked these only this morning. Carrying them over to a sunny spot in the medicine clearing, Rainbreeze place them in a neat pile on the ground. Pawing at them, she gently spread the pile into a neat fan-like shape. Picking out leaves one-by-one, the medicine cat sorted the pile of herbs.
She had been collecting borage, because of the queens in the Nursery, and comfrey, just in case of any wounds among the clan. But what herb Rainbreeze hadn't been searching for, but came back to camp with, was catmint. This made the young medicine cat's heart soar. Her stores or the precious herb were low after an outbreak last winter.
The medicine cat worked intently, absorbed by her work. That was, until a slight rustle at the entrance of her cave brought her back to the conscious world.

Dawnpaw slipped quietly through the entrance, making no sound, and holding a clump of herbs in her jaws. Padding in the direction of the Medicene Den, she silently tested herself on the herbs she was holding. She had visited different spots, and memorized the location of the herbs. She had tried picking the ones that they might need during Greenleaf. She had picked some Lavender near the WindClan border, because it was common that cats got a dry throats in the heat. She also picked up some Blackberry Leaves, the bees were swarming around all the growth. There was also Feverfew, cats were getting more then usual headaches due to the bright sun, so she gathered some of that too.
Pushing her way into the den, she immediately spotted Rainbreeze sorting herbs. Settling herself next to her mentor she gently placed her harvest down at her paws. "You were out collecting herbs too, huh? Best season, might as well take advantage of it." Purring, she started spreading out her collection. "These ones will help, right? If I'm correct on the uses, I think they will." Sorting her catch into the correct piles, a yawn escaped from her jaws. Blinking, she tilted her head towards the Medicene Cat, hoping she hadn't made a mistake.

((Sorry to keep you waiting. -.-" I did all this herb-work from memory, sorry if I got some wrong. And sorry for any spelling errors, Spell Check doesn't like me. o.e))
The soft rustle at the entrance of Rainbreeze's den turned out to be her apprentice, Dawnpaw. And with Dawnpaw, came the scent of freshly picked herbs. With a feeling of pride deep in her chest, the medicine cat scented all of the herbs her appentice had brought back. Lavender, after all, would be usefull now in the height of summer. And so would Feverfew. But why her apprentice had Black Berry leaves, she didn't know. Either her mind was failing her in this summer heat, or her apprentice oiced them instead of Razzberry Leaves. Beconing her appentice with a flick of her tail, the medicen cat heard a small purr escape from her own throat. Her apprentice was learning well.
"You were out collecting herbs too, huh? Best season, might as well take advantage of it. These ones will help, right? If I'm correct on the uses, Ithink they will."
Dawnpaw's purring mixed with her own, she indeed was training her apprentice well.
Prodding the pile of herbs that her apprentice had brought in, Rainbreeze caught a glance of each of the three herbs. Well, it wouldn't hurt to quiz her apprentice again, after all; practice makes perfect. "So," Rainbreeze mewed, struggling to keep her purr down. "could you list each of these herbs, and their uses? A little more practice never hurt anyone." She tried to keep her mew normal, as not to frighten her apprentice. She probably wouldn't be expecting her mentor to pop a pop-quiz on her.
