Shadewind stepped softly onto the moor, placing her paws in front of the other and glancing around. She crouched, and scented the air. Picking up the scent of a rabbit, she turned in the direction of where she thought it was. Pulling her small figure up and padding forward slowly, she tried to pinpoint the location of the rabbit. She let her mouth hang ajar, breathing in deeply the scents of the meadow. There was many scents of prey, but the strongest was slightly to her right, in a clump of bushes. She was aware of the hole not far off, and when she pounced, she made sure to get as close as possible, and make sure it didn't have enough time to run into the safety of its burrow. Killing it swiftly, she placed it in a patch of heather to get it later.
Stretching her back out, she yawned, and flopped onto the ground. Today is so dull and boring...Parting her jaws, she began to pant becasue of hte heat. Even though it was not even nearly sunhigh, the sun was fully exposed at blazing down on the land. Rolling herself onto her back, she watched the clouds for awhile, before drifting off into a heat drawn sleep.
