Description:
Madeye is a sturdy built tom cat with brown tabby fur. He has darker stripes on parts of his caramel colored fluffy plet and a lighter chest and muzzle. One of his eyes is slightly larger than the other (hence his name) and they are both eclectric blue. He has somewhat of a short tail, leading people to believe he is a Manx mixed with Maine Coon.
Personality:
Madeye is your stereotypical male elder. He is very wise but usually pretty grumpy and very blunt. He speaks his mind 100% of the time and if you don't like it then that's your problem. However, he does like telling stories; once you get him started telling one he becomes a little different. He tolerates young kits and apprentices but if he takes a liking to one then usually he will help them become great. He respects the leader, deputy and medicine cat even if he doesn't always agree with them and he is still a tough fighter even now that's he's up there in age.
History:
Madeye was born to two ThunderClan warriors named Caramelfur and Oakwhisker. His original name was Hazelkit and he had five siblings named Redkit, Petuniakit, Hollykit, Coyotekit, and Birchkit all of whom were warriors in their turn except Petuniakit who became a Medicine Cat before Rainbreeze's mentor was even born.
Young Hazelkit was fascinated by the stories the elders told him of warriors from the past such as Firestar and Greystripe the two noble best friends.
He began training at six moons of age under his mentor Jaystar's great-great-great grandfather Beechwhisker whom once commented to Eaglestar how Hazelpaw was very smart and a wonderful student.
Hazelpaw progressed quickly and before anyone knew it he had recieved his warrior name of Hazelleaf along with his siblings whose names were Petuniablossom, Redfir, Hollyseed, and Coyotesong.
Hazelleaf was always closest to Petuniablossom and he looked out of her because she was rthe smallest of the litter. He was so proud of his sister and his young daughter Opalheart when she became a Medicine cat in her turn.
Opalheart was his only daughter with Waterfern however as she died shortly after Opalheart recieved her new name and Hazelleaf was too devastated to take on another mate. Though he has had quite a few apprentices including, Ashenedclaw, Kiwispot, Lilacfern, Timeflight and Raccoonclaw.
His siblings all started to retire (even Petuniablossom) and eventually they all passed away. Madeye became his name when he retired choosing to take on a new name for this new chapter in his life. Madeye was devastated when Petuniablossom and Opalheart died and it had a great impact on him, now he is more reserved and tries not to get attatched to many cats.
He is the last of his line, only Timeflight is still alive.
